Разом з цим з підручника виписуємо слова у словник зі сторінки 183 до 209 (всі слова, що у квадратиках із назdою vocabulary box) знаходимо переклад (словники, інтернет).

Перегляньте відео та випишіть назви споруд у місті. Вивчіть ці слова.

Виконайте кілька цікавих завдань.

I read your advertisement for an au pair in the International Times. I am very interested in the job. I would like to work in the USA this summer. I like children and I would like to look after your two sons.

My name is Anna Sentinelli, and I am nineteen years old. I live in Padua, Italy, with my family. We are a very big family. I have six brothers and two sisters. My mother does not go out to work because she has a lot to do at home. I am the oldest child in the family. When I am at home I help her with my younger brothers and sisters. My father is an engineer. His office is in Venice. He is not at home very often because he travels a lot for his job.

At university I am studying English and Russian. I want to be an interpreter. I like reading and cooking.

My university semester ends on June 15th and I go back on September 15th.

Story 1

This happened in England in 1966, two months before the World Cup Football Tournament. One night thieves broke in and took the Cup. Police arranged a national investigation and offered a reward of ₤6 000. A few days later a man was walking his dog, Pickles, in South London. The dog found the Cup, which was made of solid gold. It was lying beside the road, wrapped in newspaper. Pickles owner returned the cup, collected the reward, and Pickles was a national hero.

Story 2

A friend of mine was working on his car at the top of a hill, near where he lives. He put his dog inside the car while he was working. He was under the car when suddenly he heard “clunk”, and the car slowly started to move. He got out from under the car, and saw the dog, sitting at the wheel, and the car moving, faster and faster, down the hill. The dog had released the handbrake. The car finally stopped in the neighbour’s garden. The dog was unhurt.
